ABSOLUTELY THE WORST INSTRUCTOR. Make sure you see other 3 to 4 instructors in action, and then when you compare them to Anand, he will definitely be the worst instructor in Bombay. He should really be a student, and not pose as an instructor. Don’t be fooled with his website. While other instructors have all won real awards and can do fast salsa, dips, lifts, etc. Anand has not won any real competition worth its salt. He cannot do fast salsa the way Darshan Dave, Kaytee, Vivek, Raunaque, Sandip, etc. can so they are definitely more accomplished instructors. Anand is overweight and a bit fat in the tummy so he looks really funny while trying to be chic and cool. He does not know how to do dips and lifts well, so he keeps blaming it on his weak back as “back problems”. It should be classified as “talent problems” actually. He has a bad attitude which is the result of his insecurity. He close dances with any good looking woman student, closer than he should. And if you are an average looking girl or guy he is very standoffish and has a condescending attitude. Check out the other dance schools in Bombay… really good instructors that are real award winners and know how to teach stylishly.
