Salsa-India and Lindy Hop India will be together bringing in quality dance classes and will soon build up a Lindy Hop scene in India.

MARCH 14TH:
Intro to Lindy Hop with Tim (US) and Ulla (Finland).
Class
Description: Lindy Hop, the Grand-Daddy of Swing dance! Learn the dance
that started them all. This class is an introduction to the Lindy Hop
world, and the scene that is just beginning here in Mumbai. By the end
of this class you’ll have a solid grasp of Lindy Hop rhythm &
musicality, connection, and a grab bag of moves that you can pull out
on any dance floor. More fun than a roller-coaster at Disney-Land, this
dance will have you smiling, sweating, and wishing for more!
LOCATION: Organised Chaos, Parmeshwar Bhavan, 14th Road, Next To Yamini Showroom,
Behind Intensity Gym, In The Tbz Lane, Khar (west)
TIME: 8 to 10pm
CLASS: for two hour class is Rs. 600.
Special discount for Salsa India Members: Rs. 500 for 2hrs.

MARCH 16TH:
Intro to Lindy Charleston with Tim
Class
Description: Charleston came before Swing, and now they are essentially
interchangeable. You can put Charleston in your Lindy, or Lindy in your
Charleston,
You can dance it by yourself, or with a partner. This
class will give the basic Charleston rhythm, and work out solo and
partnered moves. It will be helpful if you take the Lindy Hop class
before hand, but not completely ecessary.
LOCATION: Zenzi Bar, Bandra West, Waterfield Road
TIME: 6 to 7pm
COST: Rs. 400.

MARCH 19TH OR 20TH: TBC.
Intro to Lindy Hop workshop
in
the Churchgate area with Lindy Hop rockstar Helen Whiteoak from the
(UK). (This workshop is not finalized, but we will let you know as soon
as it is!)
MARCH 22ND:
Beginners Argentine Tango with Tim and Simone (Germany).
Class Description: Argentine Tango, the dance of Love- Seductive, sexy and graceful.
This
class will build your tango from the ground up. We will be using a
technique developed by the 8th Style School of Tango in Seattle (which
Tim helped found in 2005) for teaching traditional Argentine Tango
techniques and steps. Expect to learn how to solidly and comfortably
connect with your partner, fluidity, and grace in
moving together as one. Tango done well feels as effortless as floating, and we’ll provide the groundwork to get you there.

Class cost: two hour class is Rs. 600
